Do not have a WEP password diminish a computer security?
This does not bother me my WEP open, if a neighbor wants to borrow great! I was just wondering if this leaves more vulnerable to malicious attacks (including piracy, not so keyloggers, viruses, etc.). I have a firewall I am running Mac OS X = P. Thank you everyone so much already to a WPA update =).
Overall, yes. But unless you have a hacker who live near you, you probably will not have to worry. Your a nice neighbor, I do not want to pay bills my neighbors internet …. and plus, who knows what they do on the Internet, if anything illegal, he will return to you in part. WEP is already a bit outdated too, I use WPA2. Never know who's out there.
